Hi. It seems the number 313 is certainly the most favored number in the whole Mathnet series. For instance in Friday's "Great Car Robbery" The limo that George Frankly was in had a license plate number 313 313. And In the "Case of the Galling Stones" Pat Tuesday's apartment number was 313. Does anybdy remembe why the number is familiar? Thank you.

I believe it was widely mentioned before, but 313 is the area code for Ann Arbor, Michigan, as well as Detroit. Both the show's creators. David D. Connell and Jim Thurman, attended the University of Michigan, and so they make many references to their alma matter. Not just in the number 313, but in the school's colors maize and blue, plus direct mention of the school itself.
